How to delete your LUT Wrestling account and request removal of your personal data.

Google Play & Apple App Store compliance notice: This page enables you to request account and data deletion without needing to log in to the app. Your request will be processed within 30 days.

1. Important — No Login Required

You can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data without logging in to the app. Use the request form below or email us directly. We will verify your identity using the email address associated with your account and process your request within 30 days.

2. Option A — Delete In-App (Fastest)

If you have access to your account:

  1. Open the LUT Wrestling app
  2. Tap your profile icon (top right)
  3. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  4. Tap Account
  5. Tap Delete Account
  6. Confirm when prompted

Your account is deactivated immediately. Full data purge completes within 30 days. A confirmation is sent to your registered email.

3. Option B — Submit a Deletion Request (No Login Needed)

Fill in the form below or send an email to privacy@lutwrestling.sn with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

Submitting opens your email client with a pre-filled message to privacy@lutwrestling.sn. We respond within 30 days.

4. What Gets Deleted

Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed:

  • Account profile — name/username, email address, profile photo
  • Your wrestler profile (if created)
  • Personalised settings and preferences
  • Your voting history linked to your identity
  • Comments, reactions, and media uploads
  • Notification preferences and communication history
  • Event listings (if you are a Promoter)
  • Sponsorship data (if you are a Sponsor)

5. What May Be Retained (and Why)

All retained data is anonymised — it cannot be linked to your identity after deletion.

6. Deletion Timeline

  • In-app deletion: account deactivated immediately; personal data purged within 30 days
  • Email / form request: processed within 30 days of receipt of a verifiable request
  • Encrypted backups: data in backup copies is overwritten within 60 days of the purge cycle
  • Third-party processors: we notify all sub-processors within 30 days to delete your data from their systems

7. Third-Party Data

If your data was shared with third-party service providers (analytics, crash reporting, etc.), we will instruct them to delete your personal data as part of our deletion process. Anonymised aggregate data that has already been processed cannot be retroactively de-identified.

8. Before You Delete

  • Deletion is permanent and irreversible — data cannot be recovered
  • If you are a Wrestler, your public profile will be removed from the App
  • If you are a Promoter, active event listings will be unpublished
  • If you are a Sponsor with active sponsorships, please contact partners@lutwrestling.sn before deleting
